2013/14 YCN Student Awards Competition Brief:
Design a 2015 desk calendar for Fedrigoni customers that promotes our Woodstock paper range.
22 Colours, 132 Weights, 166 Days
My response to the brief was to design a perpetual calendar, with use as a swatch booklet too - including ALL the weights of the 22 colours. Swatches can be fanned out to compare and contrast with the rest, and all stock information is printed on the reverse so in full view throughout the year.
A small image is featured on every swatch, to illustrate the name of the paper and showing how coloured ink is printed onto the Woodstock range.
The base is made from plywood; the layers reflecting the pile of paper sitting on top.
